This villa has witnessed many important historical events and housed important persons since it was first built in the small town of Viganj. Some of the events are the two World Wars and the recent War of Independence, and housed King Edward of England and Mrs Simpson, Mr Fizroy Mclean, Mr Tuđman and many famous artists like Mr Edo Murtić, Duško Džamonja, Jure Kaštelan and Miroslav Krleža. During the WW II the house was completely stripped and only slowly recovered in recent years.
The first floor features two double bedrooms, one of which has a sea view and en-suite with a bathroom. On the first floor of the villa, there is also a twin bedroom with sea view. The second floor (the attic) is large in its size and impressive in its décor, featuring a double bed with en-suite shower room. Outside, decked pool area surrounded by flowers and Mediterranean flora, offers natural shade. Fruit and vegetables are also growing in the kitchen garden area which guests can help themselves to.
Additional services available include a continental breakfast service at €10 per person per day and a 3 course dinner service at €30 per person per day. This can be organized and paid for locally. The caretaker lady is also a great cook and can prepare all your meals, as well as introduce you to the wonderful local culinary traditions.
Air condition and heating is in every room.
Minimum stay is 3 days and, for July and August, it is 7 days.
Car rental is recommended as the villa is about 2 ½ hour drive from the Dubrovnik airport.
