Villa Mara is a traditional Dalmatian stone house from the 19th century which was renovated into a comfortable villa for 6 to 8 persons. The main goal during reconstruction was to preserve as much as possible of the existing Dalmatian architectural tradition and its original charm, but at the same time to meet modern living standards. Villa is situated in the old centre of the village Mirca, on the island Brac and some 800 m away from the beach and the sea.
Villa Mara has just over 120 m2 of the interior, consisting of 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a fireplace, mini bar, TV set. In the forecourt you have a swimming pool with a hydro massage bench, outside dining area with BBQ, a garden and a covered parking place. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and an outside staircase to a lower floor. A particularly attractive place is the outside dining area with a grill, covered with the authentic stone roof, which is traditional in old Dalmatian rural architecture.
The nearest grocery store is 3 minutes walking distance from Villa Mara. There is another shop in the newer part of Mirca, 400 meters from the villa. Restaurant and coffee bar are some 800 meters away. In the town of Supetar,3 km from Mirca, you can find sports facilities, shops, bars, night bars, a cinema, art gallery and a library.
